Young musicians have the opportunity to further themselves with an upcoming competition.

Applications for the CSA Sinfonia competition will be accepted until Oct. 21. This is a competition in which young musicians ages 18 and younger are to compete.

Auditions will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the Music Building’s recital hall.

The winner of the competition is awarded a $200 prize and will perform with the CSA Sinfonia on March 5. The applicant must live within 75 miles of DeKalb and perform a one-movement solo.
