Find your solemate: riding boots
October 7, 2013
You don’t need to hang out with Seabiscuit to pull off riding boots. These boots are a great fall update to any outfit.
A riding boot has a no heel, and the straight cut makes pairs easy to slide in and out of. They look great when you tuck in jeans, tights or leggings. The greatest thing about them is you can pair them with any outfit. Picking out a pair of boots that is right for you is almost as hard as finding your soulmate.
Consider wearing the boot a little more casual or dressy.
“Altuzarra presented this trend most literally, showing pants and boots straight out of the riding ring, as well as a sweater with horse emblazoned across the chest,” according to TeenVogue.com. “At most shows, however, riding boots provided just a touch of equine influence, as was the case at Gucci and Alexander Wang.”
Senior communication major Georgia Hionis shows how riding boots can look trendy and casual.
She wore black leather riding boots, dark jeans, a purple pullover sweater and a white tank top peeking out from under it all.
For jewelry, she managed to go for a big bang with only a few pieces. Hionis had on a black cuff, a few bangle bracelets and a long necklace that draws the eye down, causing her torso to look longer.
Boots have the ability to make the wearer stand a little taller and make them look and feel great. This trend is here to stay.
