• At 11:06 p.m., an officer patrolling New Hall East met with a person in regard to pot. Marissa L. Mazur, 18, of Homewood, was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday

• At 1:28 p.m. Sept. 24, an officer went to Northern View Apartments for a report of theft. On Sunday, the complainant recovered his or her property. This case is closed.

• At 12:42 a.m., an office went to Douglas Hall for a report of pot. The officer met with people in the room in question. The people were referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for possession of cannabis.

• At 1:13 a.m., an officer went to Neptune North for a report of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and battery. This case is open.

• At 11:56 p.m., an officer went to Douglas Hall for a report of battery. This case is open.

Monday

• At 12:40 a.m. Sept. 20, an officer patrolling Neptune West met with a person in regard to a report of battery. On Friday, an arrest warrant was obtained for an offender in the case. On Monday, Brandon C. McNeil, 18, of Chicago, was arrested on a warrant for assault and mob action. The battery is still pending investigation.

• At 1:13 p.m., an officer went to the parking deck for a report of domestic battery. Derrick L. Randle, 19, of Kankakee, was arrested for domestic battery.

• At 1:47 p.m., an officer patrolling the Holmes Student Center met with Willie D. O’Bannon, 22, of Chicago, who had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court for a driving offense. O’Bannon was arrested.

• At 5:43 p.m., an officer went to New Hall East for a report of theft. This case is open.

• At 9:05 p.m., an officer went to Neptune West for a report of pot. This case is closed.
