Biologist’s talk to focus on methods of education

The Department of Biological Sciences, the Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning and Secondary Science Teacher Certification are hosting a talk on Driving Instruction with Data: Assessment.
The speaker is Diane Ebert-May who is a professor of plant biology at Michigan State University and will speak from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 7 in the Holmes Student Center’s University Suites. The talk will focus on key processes of developing and implementing learner-centered instructional materials, teaching strategies and assessments in both small- and large-enrollment courses.
