MAC creates two bowl games

Huskies will have the chance to play in new bowl games starting in the 2014 season.
The Mid-American Conference has announced two newly created bowl games for a six-year period.
The Bahamas Bowl will take place in Nassau, Bahamas, and will be played at Thomas A. Robinson Stadium. The MAC will play the American Athletic Conference in the Bahamas Bowl in 2014 and Conference USA in 2015.
The MAC also announced the creation of the Boca Raton Bowl, which is scheduled to begin in 2014. The Boca Raton Bowl will be a pre-Christmas bowl game and will be televised nationally on ESPN and ESPN2. The Boca Raton Bowl will be played at Florida Atlantic University Stadium. The MAC will play Conference USA in the Boca Raton Bowl in 2014 and the American Athletic Conference in 2015.
The Bahamas Bowl, as well as the Boca Raton Bowl and another bowl game that will be announced at a future date, will be supported by FBS conferences on a six-year rotating basis.
