Info sessions to be held for themed communities

DeKalb | NIU’s Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning will offer two informational sessions on the Themed Learning Communities programs and the proposal process.

The sessions will take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 31 in the Holmes Student Center, Room 305. A Themed Learning Community is two or three courses that students are co-enrolled in and explore a common theme across disciplines. The Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning is now accepting proposals for fall 2014 Themed Learning Communities. Forms for new and continuing Themed Learning Communitiess are available. All proposals are due by the end of November.
