DeKalb | NIU has joined the Council for European Studies Academic Consortium.

The council is an international coalition dedicated to furthering the study of Europe. NIU is one of only three Illinois public universities to be among the 84 members of the coalition. The other two are University of Illiois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Being a member of the council allows NIU access to grants and prizes for graduate students and faculty involved in European research as well as access to a large network of people and publications.
