DeKalb’s eighth annual Kite Fest will take place Sunday in NIU’s North 40 field, at the corner of Lucinda Ave. and Kishwaukee Drive by the bus turnaround.

Kite-flyers and kite-builders will be at the event with many types of kites.

Food, games, TAILS animal petting, prizes and children’s kite-making booths will be at the festival. Admission is free.
