• At 8:02 a.m., an officer went to the Holmes Student Center to take a report for theft. This case is pending investigation.

• At 11:04 a.m., officers patrolling the 800 block of Crane Drive met with Janeva L. Grant, 21, of Chicago, who had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of assault. Grant was arrested.

• At 12:47 p.m., an officer went to Neptune North for a report of pot. The officer met with Tyjuan Dickens-Martin, 19, of Chicago. Dickens-Martin was in possession of drug paraphernalia and had an active arrest warrant for violation of probation. He was arrested.

• At 3:19 p.m., an officer went to Neptune West for a report of burglary. This case is pending investigation.

• At 7:28 p.m., an officer went to Lot P to assist a motorist. The officer found pot on the vehicle and the motorist was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.

• At 8:24 p.m., officers went to Neptune East for a report of disorderly conduct. This case is pending investigation.

• At 10:22 p.m., an officer went to the Recreation Center for a report of theft. This case is pending investigation.

Thursday

• At 9:37 a.m., an officer went to Stevenson’s B Tower for a report of pot. This case is closed.

• At 10:42 a.m., an officer discovered pot during an interview in the NIU Police Department. This case is pending investigation.

• At 6:18 p.m., an officer went to Neptune North for a report of pot. The officer determined the report to be unfounded.
