DeKalb police officer Chad McNett offers prizes to children Wednesday as an initiative to ask questions about police work and safety at Lexi’s Kid Corner, 122 S. First St. McNett hoped to make a good impression, especially on young kids, in order to familiarize them with who to go to for help since many of them haven’t learned how to identify police officers.
