Energy assistance available for low-income families

DeKalb | There is help for those who have experienced difficulty paying for heat in the colder months.
Community Contacts, Inc. in accordance with the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is now accepting applications to assist low-income households with families including children ages 6 and younger in paying winter energy bills. The program will be accepting all other applications starting Nov. 1.
The program is meant to aid those with difficulty paying their home energy bills. Household eligibility is determined by household income. For more information or to set up an appointment, contact Community Contacts, Inc. at 815-758-3835.
