Junior wide receiver Tommylee Lewis and senior defensive tackle Ken Bishop have been named MAC-West Players of the Week.

Lewis had nine catches for 56 yards and had 104 rushing yards on four carries during NIU’s win against Idaho.

Bishop was part of the NIU defense that had nine sacks on the Vandals’ offense. Individually, Bishop had eight tackles in the game including a tackle for loss.

In the second half, the NIU defense held the Vandals to just 159 yards.
