President Obama appoints alumna to the Commision to Eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect Fatalities

An alumna will be appointed to the Commission to Eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect Fatalities by President Barack Obama.
Patricia Martin, who studied at the College of Law, is the judge of the Child Protection Division of the Cook County Circuit Court.
The commission evaluates programs and prevention efforts and recommends a strategy to reduce and prevent child abuse neglect fatalities, according to NIU Today.
