NIU is rolling out the red carpet for royalty.

Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, referred to as “princess angel” by her people, of Thailand will receive an honorary doctor of humane letters degree at a ceremony Wednesday. The 9:40 a.m. ceremony, to be held in Altgeld Hall’s auditorium, will include remarks from NIU President Doug Baker, the princess and professor Clark Neher.
