Look good without trying hard
September 9, 2013
It’s easy to feel insecure about your style when battling with time. Remember these quick tips on how to look good without trying too hard.
Don’t overthink an outfit
Sometimes when getting ready, people skip over the plain items in their closet. However, these clothes — solid-colored T-shirts or simple blue jeans — could be key. These items are the easiest to style. Donning them is pretty much like wearing a blank canvas.
Don’t be afraid of accessories
Accessories can be intimidating, and with different jewelry pieces, it’s hard to choose one. One rule of thumb is to never wear too much. Don’t pair dangling earrings, a statement necklace and bracelets. Just choose one.
Simplicity is always key
Just like your clothes are a blank canvas, so is your face. Making sure to dress it up right is essential. I’m not saying to pile on the makeup; treat your skin with respect. Wearing SPF moisturizer every day to protect your skin from harmful rays can keep skin looking youthful and radiant. If you want to wear makeup you can opt for a lighter, healthier coverage with a simple BB cream that hydrates, protects and corrects.
Be you
This is saved for last because it is the most important part of your style. No matter what you are wearing or how you feel, carry yourself with confidence. One day you could feel like you’re wearing the worst outfit ever, but if you sit up straight and put your shoulders back you could look just like a model on the runway.
