Fall festivities begin this weekend at Jonamac Orchard, 19412 Shabbona Road in Malta.

While the bakery and country store have been open since Aug. 21, Jonamac Orchard is holding its grand opening from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Guests have the opportunity to experience activities like rubber duck races, an apple train and a corn maze. This year’s corn maze celebrates Lincoln Highway’s 100th anniversary.

Jonamac Orchard co-owners Denice McArtor said apple picking is the most popular activity at the orchard, while the haunted corn maze is a close second.

The haunted corn maze and pumpkin demolition activities will take place in October and November.
