Wednesday
At 9:09 a.m., an officer on patrol of Neptune West made contact with a complainant in regard to a report of theft. An individual was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for theft.
At 5:51 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Art Building in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.
At 7:40 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Recreation Center in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.
At 9:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to Douglas Hall in regard to a report of domestic battery. The officers arrived on scene and investigated. Mariah A. Kelley, 18, was arrested for domestic battery. Kelley was processed at the NIU Police Department and transported to the DeKalb County Jail.
At 10:59 p.m., officers were dispatched to Douglas Hall in regard to a report of battery. The officers arrived on scene and investigated. Willard M. Cotton, 19, was arrested for battery. Cotton was processed at the NIU Police Department and released on $150 bond.
Thursday
At 1:06 a.m., an officer was dispatched to Swen Parson Hall in regard to criminal damage. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.
At 2:14 a.m., an officer on patrol of Grant Towers North made contact with five individuals who were under 21 and consuming alcohol. The five individuals were referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
At 4:48 p.m., an officer on patrol of the 100 block of N. Annie Glidden Road made contact with an individual who had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of retail theft. Christina M. Crowe, 25, was arrested and processed at the NIU Police Department. Crowe was transported to the DeKalb County Jail.
At 7:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to Lincoln Hall in regard to a report of domestic battery. The officers arrived on scene and investigated. Tina R. Wilkins, 18, was arrested for domestic battery. Wilkins was processed at the NIU Police Department and transported to the DeKalb County Jail.
At 7:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to Northern View Apartments in regard to a domestic battery. The officers arrived on scene and investigated. Michelle L. Laird, 23, was arrested for domestic battery. Laird was processed at the NIU Police Department and transported to the DeKalb County Jail.
At 10:26 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the NIU Police Department in regard to an individual with an active arrested warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of battery. The officer arrived on scene and took the individual into custody. Gladys Gonzalez, 22, was arrested and processed at the NIU Police Department. Gonzalez was released on $275 bond.
At 11:32 p.m., an officer on patrol of New Hall East made contact with an individual in regard to a report of assault. Quinterra S. Flowers, 18, was arrested for assault. Flowers was processed at the NIU Police Department and released on $1,200 bond.
