The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

At 1:11 a.m., officers responded to Molly’s, 1000 W. Lincoln Highway, in reference to a subject refusing to leave. Officers were advised the suspect was intoxicated and had been escorted to the parking lot. The suspect was unhappy at being ejected from the bar and attempted to punch one of the bouncers. Ryan Patrick Burns, 22, was charged with criminal damage to property.

At 1:24 a.m., officers were dispatched to a fight call at Molly’s, 1000 W. Lincoln Highway. Marc L. Gentile, 21, and Jacob W. Ackert, 21, were charged with battery. Ackert was also charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

At 2:07 a.m., following a traffic stop at 200 N. Annie Glidden Road, Gabriela Velazquez, 21, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, texting while driving and illegal transportation of liquor.

At 2:10 a.m., following a traffic stop at 1000 S. First St., Josh W. Seaney, 33, was charged with DUI, lane violation, squealing tires and expired registration.

At 3:26 a.m., following a traffic stop at 1100 Varsity Blvd., Marlon D. Grandy, 23, was charged with driving with a suspended license. Grandy was released on bond with a court date.

At 4:36 p.m., a complainant reported that a dog from 140 Oak Drive was running around the neighborhood and that it is an ongoing issue. Following an investigation, Jennifer L. Corbin, 44, was cited for dog running at large.

At 5:17 p.m., Modteets V. Williams Jr., 22, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to appear—criminal damage to property. Williams was released on bond with a court date.

At 6:44 p.m., officers responded to Prairie Park, 627 Yorkshire Drive, in response to a report of graffiti. Following an investigation, Reynaldo Espino, 25, was charged with criminal defacement of property.

At 9:24 p.m., a complainant called and said her husband called her cellphone and her house phone after being served with an order of protection in open court. Glenn Oullette, 61, was charged with violation of an order of protection.
