The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Thursday

At 2:36 p.m. on Dec. 8, an officer was dispatched to Douglas Hall in regard to a report of theft and credit card fraud. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Thursday, an individual was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for theft and credit card fraud.

At 7:51 a.m., an officer was dispatched to Lowden Hall in regard to a report of criminal damage. The officer met with the complainant and a report was taken. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 9:25 a.m., an officer made contact with a complainant in regard to a report of theft from a motor vehicle. The officer took a report. This case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 3:42 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the New Hall Community Center in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 5:43 p.m., an officer on patrol of Stevenson Towers North made contact with an individual in regard to cannabis. Contact resulted in the individual being referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for violation of the Cannabis Control Act.

At 11:59 p.m., an officer on patrol of the 900 block of Greenbrier Road made contact with an individual who was under 21 and in possession of alcohol. The individual was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.
