Thursday

At 12:45 p.m., officers on patrol of the 900 block of Greenbrier Road made contact with an individual who had an active arrest warrant for misrepresentation of age by a minor. David Goings, 20, was arrested and processed at the NIU Police Department. Goings was released on $200 bond.

At 3:45 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Stevenson Towers South in regard to a report of battery. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 10:52 p.m., an officer on patrol of the 800 block of Greenbrier Road made contact with an individual in regard to a report of an altercation. Contact resulted in the individual being referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for battery and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
