During GradComm’s Spring 2013 Colloquium, alumnus Michael Lawrence Butterworth will describe how sports and statistics were used in presidential campaigns.

Butterworth will examine the media’s usage of sports metaphors and the impact it had on 2012 presidential campaigns. Butterworth will speak at 4 p.m. today in DuSable Hall, Room 340. GradComm is the Graduate Student Advisory Council for the Communication Department.
