The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting on Jan. 31 honored NIU President John Peters with the Community Pride Award for his service to DeKalb.

Peters was recognized for his engagement with the community over 13 years.

The event also recognized small business leaders in DeKalb.
