Cheap additions to your wardrobe

By Deanna Frances

With spring just around the corner, you might be thinking about changing your wardrobe from layers of sweaters and jeans to thinner T-shirts, dresses and shorts.

Since fashion is a high priority for society, many people try to find the “hottest” looks for the upcoming season.

Of course, budget is always an issue. It’s difficult to find cute outfits to fit a college student budget, but if you can find good deals, there are many things that you can do to mix and match pieces of your wardrobe to make cute spring style outfits. Stores like JCPenney’s, Kohl’s, T.J. Maxx and Target are great places to buy cheap pieces of clothing that are versatile. Take a look at these pictures of music education majors freshman Nicholas Kalina and junior Michelle Claypool sporting outfits with cheap, versatile pieces from multiple local stores.

Michelle Claypool, junior music education major
