Salsa DeKalb is hosting a dance benefit event 7 p.m. today with the House Cafe, 263 E. Lincoln Highway.

This is the first dance benefit that will be hosted by Salsa DeKalb and the House Cafe. It is open to all ages.

Admission is $6 at the door. The cover charge also includes a dance lesson and the deejay will be taking requests.

The event will benefit Children’s Initiative International (CII), an organization that helps children locally and internationally by providing food, shelter and education.

No dance partner is required. All skill levels are welcome.
