The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Monday
At 5:14 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, 2300 Sycamore Road, in reference to a retail theft. Following investigation, Ronesha Bryant, 22, and Monique Bond, 22, were charged with retail theft and released on bond.
Wednesday
At 9:26 a.m., officers responded to a Fotis Drive residence for a domestic problem between two roommates. Following an investigation, Bryanna M. Ward, 21, was charged with domestic battery.
At 10:11 a.m., officers observed a vehicle accelerate very quickly when the traffic light turned green. Officers paced the vehicle at 44 mph in a 30 mph zone. Following a traffic stop at 600 W. Lincoln Highway, Meshal H. Alharbi, 22, was charged with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and speeding. The vehicle was towed and Alharbi was released on bond.
At 10:29 a.m., following a traffic stop at 500 W. Lincoln Highway, Anthony L. Redd, 29, was charged with driving without a license and an original warrant out of Ogle County for speeding. The vehicle was towed and the passengers were given a ride home. Redd was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
At 3:52 p.m., dispatch received a complaint of a male subject who is known to be banned from the property at a Crane Drive residence. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who advised her ex-boyfriend was at her apartment and had gotten into the apartment by unknown means. Following am investigation, Patrick L. Thompson, 25, was charged with criminal trespass and failure to appear—criminal trespass. Thompson was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
At 6 p.m., while investigating a suspicious vehicle incident, officers learned one of the residents received injuries from her husband earlier in the day. Following investigation, Daniel J. Taylor, 33, was charged with two counts of domestic battery.
Thursday
At 2:28 a.m., following a traffic stop at 200 Augusta Avenue, Gregorio Martinez, 30, was charged with driving with a suspended license and was released on bond.
Between 1 and 6:45 a.m., a victim reported his vehicle was stolen from the driveway of 18 Jennifer Lane. A second vehicle in the driveway was burglarized. Following an investigation, Daniel J. Taylor, 33, was charged with burglary and unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle.
At 3:12 a.m., officers were dispatched to 100 Heatherfield Lane for subjects going through cars in the neighborhood. Daniel J. Taylor, 33, was charged with burglary, two counts of auto theft, domestic battery and possession of cannabis. Timothy A. Schabow, 47, was charged with trespass and burglary.
At 11:16 p.m., officers went to 829 N. 14th St. to serve a warrant. Tameetra S. McNeal, 31, was charged with failure to appear—driving with a suspended license. McNeal was released on bond with a court date and driven back to her residence.
At 11:54 p.m., officers responded to Lord Stanley’s, 142 E. Lincoln Highway, for disorderly conduct. Dispatch advised the complainant located an intoxicated female inside the bar who appeared to need assistance. Following investigation, Regina K. Harley, 20, was charged with unlawful consumption by a minor.
Friday
At 11:53 a.m., a person called about a possible trespass. Following an investigation at 829 Greenbrier Road, Dangelo Summfaville, 22, was charged with trespass to property.
At 1:02 p.m., the complainant contacted the police department to report an intoxicated driver. Officers located the suspect vehicle on East Lincoln Highway at the intersection of Fourth Street. The suspect vehicle remained stopped at the intersection while the traffic signal cycled through the green light. Officers initiated a stop after the vehicle went through the intersection, but the vehicle did not stop for two blocks. Nicholas R. Tucker, 20, was charged with DUI for drugs.
At 3:48 p.m., Mason J. Lovell, 19, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to appear—domestic battery. Lovell was released on bond with a court date.
At 5:32 p.m., a victim called after a domestic dispute with her husband. She advised he had damaged some of their property and her vehicle. Following investigation, Mario D. Baxtrom, 29, was charged with criminal damage to property and was released on bond.
At 7:34 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, 2300 Sycamore Road, in reference to retail theft. Following investigation, Zehra Syeda Hussain, 23, was charged with retail theft.
Saturday
At 9:41 p.m., officers went to 809 E. Edgebrook Drive to serve a warrant. Chanel C. McKinnie, 20, was charged with failure to appear—driving with a suspended license. McKinnie was released on bond with a court date.
At 11:43 p.m., during a building check, a suspect was located passed out at 904 W. Hillcrest Drive. He had cannabis on him and was intoxicated. The DeKalb Fire Department transported him to Kishwaukee Community Hospital and released him into police custody. Michael S. Dradi, 29, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and battery. Dradi was released on bond.
