The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Wednesday

At 1:28 a.m., following a traffic stop at 1700 E. Lincoln Highway, Jacob A. Millhorn, 25, was charged with DUI, DUI over .08, expired registration and possession of drug paraphernalia. Millhorn was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office to await a bond hearing.

At 9:06 a.m., officers were dispatched to Phillips 66, 1102 N. First St. in reference to a “drive off” complaint. Following investigation, Paul J. Williams, 22 and Robert E. Price Jr., 22, were charged with theft.

At 10:32 a.m., while investigating the theft of gas at Phillips 66, officers had contact at 809 Edgebrook Drive with the subject driving. While investigating the theft call, the door was shut abruptly on one of the officers. Following further investigation, Anthony A. Stevenson, 22, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis.

At 11:32 p.m., officers responded to 303 S. Sixth St. to serve a warrant. Dominique L. Williams, 26, was charged with unlawful use of a credit card. Williams was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office to await a bond hearing.

At 5:17 p.m., officers responded to 824 Greenbrier Road in reference to disorderly subjects. Following investigations, Dashawn Cross, 18, and Adale Cross, 19, were charged with home invasion and battery. Dashawn Cross was also charged with a warrant for larceny.

At 7:13 p.m., a victim came to the Police Department to report being battered by her child’s father. The suspect argued with the victim about getting a ride to 7-Eleven. When the victim refused to drive him there he punched her in the face and chest and threw a large soda at her, covering her face, torso, legs and the interior of her car. Following investigation, Andre T. Morrow, 23, was charged with two counts of domestic battery.

At 8:56 p.m., Valencia Martin, 19, turned herself in on a warrant for failure to appear—resisting arrest. Martin was released on bond.

Thursday

At 12:11 p.m., following a traffic stop at 900 Garden Road, Gregory L. Zolton, 20, was charged with driving with a suspended license. Zolton was released on bond.

At 12:05 p.m., Andy Cordoya, 21, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to appear—unlicensed. Cordoya was released on bond.

Christopher S. Wilson, 21, was located, arrested, booked and processed for retail theft. Wilson was released on bond with a court date.

At 6:34 p.m., officers observed two suspects at 824 Greenbrier Road who were known to be banned by the property owner. Officers confirmed the ban with dispatch and then with the property owner. Angelica M. Cortez, 19, and Dangelo K. Summerville, 21, were charged with criminal trespass to real property. Both were released on bond with court dates.

At 6:55 p.m., Christian D. Crawford, 20, turned himself in on a warrant from Monroe County for failure to appear—reckless driving. Crawford was unable to post bond and was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

Friday

At 3:33 p.m., at Kohl’s, 2070 Sycamore Road, the suspect was seen by loss prevention taking a shirt off of a rack in the men’s section and going into the fitting room with it. When he exited the fitting room he did not have the shirt. When the room was checked the shirt was not there but the price tag was found on the ground. After passing all points of sale the suspect was asked to come into the loss prevention office. Robert D. Anthony, 22, was charged with retail theft and released on bond.

At 12:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to McDonald’s, 545 E. Lincoln Highway. Following an investigation, Alejandro Rincon, 19, was charged with failure to appear—driving with a suspended license. Rincon was released on bond.

At 7:26 p.m., officers were passed by a vehicle going 44 mph in a 30 mph zone. The vehicle then passed through an intersection after the stoplight had already turned red. Following a traffic stop at 700 N. Peace Road, Juan J. Cardena-Coronel, 20, was charged with no valid driver’s license, speeding, uninsured and disobeying traffic control. Cardena-Coronel was released on bond with a court date.

At 3:02 p.m., officers responded to an Annie Glidden Road residence for a domestic dispute. On arrival, the victim was outside. She said the suspect damaged property and hit her in the head with his fist. Officers attempted to get into the apartment, but the suspect had barricaded the door with the couch. He moved the couch when officers announced their presence. Akeem J. Jones, 20, was charged with domestic battery.

Saturday

At 12:00 a.m., following a traffic stop at 500 N. Annie Glidden Road, Agustin Garcia, 21, was charged with no valid driver’s license and speeding.

At 1:10 a.m., officers observed a vehicle traveling without headlights on. The vehicle also turned left without using a turn signal. Following a traffic stop at 800 Regent Drive, Ashauntay E. M. Wilson, 19, was charged with driving without a license and was released on bond.

At 2:53 a.m., officers observed a vehicle with am excessively loud muffler. Following a traffic stop at 100 S. Seventh St., Rodney J. Mershon, 45, was charged with DUI, DUI over .08 and excessive muffler noise.

At 6:56 a.m., officers were dispatched to Nestle, 800 Nestle Court to investigate a domestic battery. Upon arrival, the victim said he was in a verbal argument with his girlfriend while she was driving him to work. Following investigation, Tiffanie M. Stuckey, 32, was charged with two counts of domestic battery and resisting a peace officer.
