The DeKalb Park District will host “Going to the Dogs,” a workshop to educate citizens on the programming options available to dog owners in DeKalb.

The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on March 13 at the Haish Gym Facility, 303 S. Ninth St.

The workshop will cover tracking, dog massage and canine good citizen programs. Pet specialists will be available to answer questions and give advice on pet ownership, according to the park district. There will also be free raffles, Beanie Baby dog door prizes and craft projects for parents and children to participate in.

Dog owners and their families are invited to attend; however, guests are advised not to bring their pets to the event.
