The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Sunday
At 1:46 a.m., a traffic stop at 900 N. Annie Glidden Road led to the arrest of David L. Lewis, 21, and Zachary E. Best, 19. Both were charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. Best was also charged with unlawful possession of paraphernalia.
At 1:47 a.m., following a traffic stop at 100 N. Seventh St., Froilan Bonilla, 34, was charged with no valid driver’s license, disobeyed traffic control signal and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Bonilla was released on bond.
At 3:28 a.m., while on patrol, officers conducted a citizen contact at 400 College Ave. Cody M. Fisher, 21, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis between 2.5-10 grams and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Fisher was released on bond.
At 6:56 a.m., officers responded to a Regent Drive residence in reference to a 911 call. Dispatch advised the complainant did not want her girlfriend to leave her residence and attempted to stop her while wielding a knife. Officers arrived on scene and, after securing the scene, spoke with both individuals. The victim advised she and her ex-girlfriend got into an argument over money and belongings. In retaliation, the victim took the complainant’s phone. Frustrated that the victim took her phone, the complainant threatened the victim with a knife and poked her near the chest with it. Crystal L. Radcliff, 20, was charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault.
