Military Student Services will host “Save a Vet: The Other Forgotten Soldier” from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Jan. 30 in the Holmes Student Center’s Capitol Room. Danny Scheurer, president of Save-A-Vet, will give a presentation focused on canines in the military. Save-A-Vet rescues military service dogs that have returned from the front lines so they will not be put down. The event is open to the public.
