At 3:28 p.m. on Nov. 14, an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Tuesday, the case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 1:08 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the BP gas station on the 900 block of Lincoln Highway. During the course of the stop the officer discovered Olisab Guevara, 21, of West Chicago, was in possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Guevara was arrested and processed at the NIU Police Department. He was released on a $150 bond.
At 3:45 p.m. Chasity M. Moss, 21, of Aurora, had an active arrest warrant for retail theft and turned herself in at the NIU Police Department. Moss was arrested and processed at the NIU Police Department and then released on a $300 bond.
At 4:25 p.m. Brelyn J. Brannon, 20, of Aurora, had an active arrest warrant for retail theft. Brannon was arrested and processed at the NIU Police Department and then released on a $200 bond.
