The House Cafe, 263 E. Lincoln Highway, is hosting a music festival to celebrate Thanksgiving.

The Gobble Gobble Get Down music festival will occur at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Old Shoe will be the headlining event, and other performers include EGI, Afternoon Moon and Trevor Clark.

The cost of entry is $8, and $1 will be taken off if you bring canned food or an article of clothing to donate at the door.

The event is being held to promote good music in DeKalb, and the name was chosen in celebration of Thanksgiving, said event coordinator Steve Contreras.

“The purpose is to bring the community that surrounds the events and to celebrate the season change,” Contreras said.
