Hultgren to accept applications for political internships

Rep. Randy Hultgren, R-Geneva, is accepting internship applications for spring and summer 2013.
According to a Friday news release, the congressman will accepting both full- and part-time applicants for spring internships, and full-time applicants for summer.
The spring internships will run from January to May, and the summer sessions will run from May to August. All internships will be unpaid.
College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply to work at either the congressman’s Geneva, Ill., office, or his congressional office in Washington, D.C.
Most of the duties for interns will be administrative, though special occasions for tour group leading and staffing will be a possibility, according to the release.
Interested parties should email a resume, cover letter and writing sample to [email protected]. Applicants are asked to specify whether they would prefer a spring or summer internship.
