Nationally known artist to display work at local gallery

Dale Osterle, a long time DeKalb resident and nationally known artist will be displaying her work at The Art Box, 308 E. Lincoln Highway, from Dec. 1 to 28.
Osterle was educated in Rhode Island and spent over 20 years working with printmaker David Driesbach at NIU, according to a Sunday news release from The Art Box.
The opening of the exhibit will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 1 at The Art Box. Osterle’s exhibit is entitled “… miles to go,” and is inspired by a poem by Robert Frost, according to the release. The collection on display will by a set of hand-painted intaglio prints.
Her other works hang in galleries and collections both nationally and internationally including the corporate collections of IBM, McDonald’s and Reader’s Digest, according to the release.
