Saturday
At 5:23 a.m., officers on patrol at the 900 block of North Annie Glidden Road met with Gladys Gonzalez, 22, of Skokie, who had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on the charge of disorderly house. Gonzalez was arrested and sent to the NIU Police Department. She was released on a $150 bond.
At 5:18 p.m., an officer was sent to the Campus Recreation Center in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.
At 10:35 p.m., an officer on patrol of Douglas Hall met with people in regard to cannabis. The meeting resulted in the people being referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sunday
At 12:53 a.m., an officer on patrol of Lot 35 met with two people who were under 21 and intoxicated. Both people provided false information to the officer. Aaron A. Hasburn-Mendez, 20, of West Chicago, and Connor A. Farwell, 20, of La Jolla, were arrested for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and obstructing identification. Hasburn-Mendez and Farwell were processed at the NIU Police Department and released on individual bonds.
