A registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator will offer a program to help people manage their diabetes and enjoy the holidays, according to a University of Illinois Extension news release.

Marilyn Csernus will offer the program called Managing Diabetes through the Holidays. The program will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 at the DeKalb County Extension office at 1350 W. Prairie Drive in Sycamore. The program is $5 per person and pre-registration by Nov. 30 is preferred, according to the University of Illinois Extension.

The program will cover preparing for a happy healthy holiday season with diabetes, eating tips on maintaining good glucose control through the holidays, on the road and in the air with diabetes and holiday recipes.
