Friday

At 7:29 p.m. on Oct. 30, an officer was sent to Neptune Hall North in regard to a report of residential burglary. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. Further investigation led to Deandre A. Williams, 18, of Chicago, being identified as the offender. On Friday, Williams was arrested and charged with residential burglary. He was processed and later sent to the DeKalb County jail. His bond is set at $20,000.

At 10:50 p.m. on Nov. 8, an officer was sent to Lincoln Hall in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. The missing item was later located. This case is closed as unfounded.

At 6:23 p.m. on Nov. 13, an officer was sent to the Campus Recreation Center in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. The missing item was later located. This case is closed as unfounded.

At 1:38 a.m., several people were found inside a vehicle smoking cannabis at the Pay Lot. All the people were referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of cannabis.

At 5:45 p.m., an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 9:07 p.m., two people were found possessing alcohol at Douglas Hall. Both of them were referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.

Saturday

At 1:09 p.m. on Nov. 13, an officer was sent to the Campus Recreation Center in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Saturday, this case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 1:15 a.m., an officer on patrol at Douglas Hall met with a person in possession of drug paraphernalia. The person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 2:52 a.m., an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 1:45 p.m., an officer was sent to Neptune Hall West in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

Sunday

At 5:30 p.m. on Friday, an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department lobby in regard to a report of fraud. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Sunday, the case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 2:25 a.m., an officer on patrol of Stevenson Towers North met with a person in regard to cannabis. The meeting resulted in the person being referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for possession of cannabis.

At 10:25 a.m., officers on patrol at Stevenson Towers South met with Javon W. Roy, 20, of Waukegan. Roy had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a cannabis charge. Roy was arrested and sent to the NIU Police Department. He was then sent to the DeKalb County jail.

At 1:09 p.m., Rony P. Youkhana, 22, of Morton Grove, went to the NIU Police Department lobby for having an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court for the charge of larceny. Youkhana was arrested and then released on a $475 bond.
