Friday

At 3:43 p.m. on Sept. 22, an officer was sent to the New Residence Hall Community Center for a report of criminal damage to property. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Friday, this case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 12:01 a.m., an officer was sent to Douglas Hall in regard to a report of residential burglary. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 4:21 a.m., an officer on patrol at Neptune Hall East met with a person who was under 21 and intoxicated. The person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.

At 4:28 a.m., an officer was sent to DuSable Hall in regard to a report of criminal damage to state property. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 4:23 p.m., an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. The officer investigated the incident and identified Damarco T. White as the offender. White was arrested for theft. He was processed at the NIU Police Department and sent to the DeKalb County jail.

At 4:57 p.m., an officer was sent to the Campus Recreation Center in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. Later that day, the missing items were located. The case was closed as unfounded.

Saturday

At 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 5, an officer was sent to Stevenson Tower South in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Saturday, this case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 8:42 a.m. on Oct. 7, an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department lobby in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Saturday, this case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 1:12 a.m., an officer was sent to Northern View Apartments in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 6:45 a.m., an officer was sent to the 500 block of Lucinda Avenue in regard to a report of criminal damage to property. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 2:20 a.m., an officer was sent to the Holmes Student Center in regard to a report of criminal damage to state property. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. The case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 9:06 p.m., an officer was sent to Stevenson Towers South in regard to a report of domestic battery. The officer met with the complainant and identified an offender. The offender was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for domestic battery.

Sunday

At 12:37 a.m., an officer on patrol of the 800 block of Edgebrook Drive conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was given a verbal warning for unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.

At 2:14 a.m., officers on patrol of the 700 block of North Annie Glidden Road met with a person who was under 21 and intoxicated. The person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.

At 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Aspen Court in regard to a report of a suspicious person. Officers made contact with a person who was under 21 and intoxicated. The person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
