Monday

At 2:22 p.m., an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Monday, this case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 9:27 p.m., an officer was sent to Neptune Hall Central in regard to a report of domestic dispute. The officer arrived on the scene and investigated. Ronald Baute, 19, of Cicero, was arrested for domestic battery, aggravated domestic battery and unlawful restraint. Baute was processed at the NIU Police Department and sent to the DeKalb County jail.
