What is your top priority if you are elected?
“One of the things I want to do is work with the police to create a force with the board and the police department. There is a lot of crime in the district and we need to foster a relationship between community and law enforcement. DeKalb has big-city crime. It really does and people don’t really know what’s going on. That’s a big problem I want to address. We also need a program to inform people, especially students, about their rights. I’d like to see us help the senior citizens in this community more. I also want to research the possibility of an industrial line of public transportation. This would mean that people would be able to get the jobs in DeKalb that people from other communities are getting.”
