New parking restrictions will be in place for Homecoming weekend, according to a DeKalb Police Department press release Tuesday.

The restrictions will be in place from 5 p.m. Friday, until 10 a.m. Sunday. Parking will be prohibited along the South sides of Edgebrook Dr. and Greenbrier Road, but permitted on the North sides.

Only the West side of Russell Road will be available for parking, however, the entire length of the Road will be available for parking.

The DCPD will post signs reflecting these weekend changes, which have been in place for previous homecoming weekends. The changes are in hopes of increasing visibility and safer traffic flow along the narrow Greek Row streets, according to the report.
