The Office of Student Academic Success will host a mid-semester check today, according to NIU Today.

The mid-semester check will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today in the Holmes Student Center’s Illinois Room. The mid-semester check will also be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the same location.

According to NIU Today, the mid-semester check gives students the chance to learn about resources available to manage stress during midterm and finals work. The mid-semester check also teaches students on how to improve course papers and what students need to know before renting an apartment next semester.

According to the flier for the event, students are encouraged to bring a note pad, pencil or planner. Students who attend can also enter a raffle to win a scholarship.
