Blake Brittain, junior physical therapy major, finishes up some homework for Chemistry 210 near John E. La Tourette Hall on the first day of classes Monday. Brittain is a transfer student from McHenry County College. Brittain said he loves the large lectures halls at NIU and the people on campus are “pretty cool.”
