The Center for Access-Ability Resources has changed its name to the Disability Resource Center, according to an NIU Today article.

The center changed its name in response to the growing number of students with a disability, the article stated.

The name is meant to reflect NIU’s commitment to access and inclusion of students with disabilities.

The number of students with disabilities has doubled in the past few years, the article stated.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to visit the center.
