The city of DeKalb has made the move to Facebook.

The city’s page relaunched Monday and utilizes the new timeline format. The page features news from city hall, as well as information, facts and photos of the city.

An album of historic city photos is also available. The album includes a picture of Altgeld Hall from the early 1900s and a photo from one of NIU’s first homecoming football games.

The page will be updated and moderated regularly by city officials, according to the Facebook page.
