Crimestoppers seeking information on recent copper thefts

Crimestoppers is seeking information on the theft of copper taken from a cell tower in the 700 block of Route 64, according to a press release.
Two copper grounding plates valued at $200 were taken, however, repair costs for the antenna and the site totaled about $2000. The theft occurred between Jan. 24 and Jan. 31.
Any information about the crime, items taken or persons involved can be reported to Crimestoppers at 815-895-3272 or [email protected]. Callers can remain anonymous and Crimestoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1000.
