TUESDAY

At 11:07 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at Stevenson North Drive and found the driver, Michael Nietert, 19, of Naperville, was banned from all NIU property. Nietert was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to real property.

At 10:30 p.m., an officer in Lincoln Hall’s lobby took a report from a student who said his books were stolen from his room sometime during winter break. This case is pending investigation.
