Campus blotter for 12/5/11

November 14
- At 5:11 a.m. officers were flagged down by a person who wanted to report damage to a door in Still Gym. An investigation revealed that the damage was internal. Due to a lack of leads, this case is administratively closed.
Thursday
- At 4 a.m. officers responded to the Lincoln Hall Computer Lab regarding disorderly conduct. Upon arrival, students said a person in the computer lab was viewing pornographic materials and engaging in inappropriate behavior. Christopher C. Erby, 18, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was processed at the NIU Police Department and released on bond.
- At 7:13 p.m., an officer responded to the Gabel Hall Auditorium regarding a theft report. Upon arrival, he met with a student who said someone stole his Nintendo 3DS game system after he left it in the auditorium. This case is pending investigation.
