DeKalb County Sheriff’s deputies arrested and charged a DeKalb man Saturday for supplying cocaine to two juveniles, according to a press release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

Tyler R. Walt, 21, of DeKalb, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, the press release stated.

An NIU Media Relations spokesperson said Walt was formerly an NIU student, but is no longer enrolled in the university.

Walt was held in DeKalb County Jail on a $50,000 bond. Walt posted the 10 percent, or $5,000, required, was given a court date of Dec. 2 and was released.
