Sunday
- At 2:47 a.m., an officer in the Neptune North Lobby observed a person enter the stairwell and proceed down to the basement without checking in. The officer contacted the student, who revealed she was underage and consumed alcohol. She was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.
- At 3:11 a.m., an officer in the Neptune North Lobby observed a staggering man. The officers contacted the student, who revealed he was underage and consumed alcohol. He was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.
Wednesday
- At 11:40 a.m., an officer responded to the NIU Police Department lobby for a report. Upon arrival, she met with a woman, who said someone grabbed her arm and threatened her. The person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for battery.
- At 2:09 p.m. an officer responded to the lobby of the NIU Police Department for a theft report. He met with a student who said someone stole his cellphone from the Neptune North computer lab. The theft is alleged to have occurred between 10 p.m. Monday and midnight Tuesday. This case is pending Investigation.
- At 8:47 p.m., an officer responded to the NIU Police Department for a theft report. Upon arrival, he met with a student who said someone stole several items of his mail. This case is pending investigation.
- At 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the fifth floor of the Douglas Hall B Wing for a report of burned cannabis. Upon arrival, they smelled burned cannabis coming from the suspected room. The officers contacted the residents of the room and referred one to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
