Kishwaukee Community Hospital, 1 Kish Hospital Drive, will hold a blood drive in memory of 9/11 from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday.

People who wish to donate can sign up online, said Paula von Ende, Director of Volunteer Services for Kishwaukee Community Hospital.

The blodd drive will offer incentives for people who donate.

“Every donor will receive a Remember 9/11 T-shirt and two coupons for Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream,” von Ende said.

The drive is held during a season in which donations are scarce. People are typically on break and there is always a shortage during the summertime, von Ende said.
